I was born and raised in Illinois, although I did spend a few years in Indiana for college and work. I'm currently living in Wheaton, Illinois.
Through my work in digital media and live events, I have developed a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and efficiency. I have a proven track record of editing videos for various purposes, including social media, commercial use, and educational content.
My specialties include writing, cinematography, and editing. I also have experience with Daktronics, Xpression, Premiere Pro, After Effects, directing, and producing.
I'm excited to share that Always an Original: Episode 2 - The Madhouse, a documentary that I worked on as an assistant editor, won multiple Telly Awards in 2026. These awards include: a Gold Telly in Editing in Film & Shorts, a Gold Telly in Best Editing in People's Telly, a Gold Telly in Non-Broadcast in Documentary: Short Form (Under 40 Minutes), as well as a Silver Telly in Film and Shorts - Documentary. It was also shortlisted for the Hashtag Sports Awards.
I'm proud to have been part of the United Center's live production team for the Chicago Bulls' 2020-2021 and 2022-2023 seasons, where I ran camera and operated Xpressions for the centerhung, ribbon, and fascia arena boards. Both seasons earned Best Overall Production in Basketball from the 2022 and 2023 IDEA Conference.
Being a Margo Katherine Wilke Undergraduate Research Intern was also incredibly rewarding while I was a Purdue student. I designed an independent study focusing on the work of the early women in film: directors, editors, and cinematographers. Through my research and final presentation to the heads of the Film and Video Studies department and the College of Liberal Arts, I was instrumental in establishing the "Women in Film and Video Production" learning community at Purdue. In recognition of my work, I received the Outstanding Senior award from the College of Liberal Arts.
